We use participatory methods. Addressing the social dynamics that hinder collaboration requires social processes. Similarly, we can’t shift how we show up in space as individuals solely by intellectual means. No lecture or PowerPoint can help individuals and groups imagine and create new ways of being, so we use storytelling, games, applied theatre, visual art and improvisation to build new social connections and neural pathways.

We engage in play with a purpose. Play is human beings’ first learning modality that is sadly conditioned out of us as we age. Coming up with new ideas without play is like trying to fly to the moon on a rock.
We build authentic and accountable space to provide the psychological safety participants need to take risks, imagine possibilities and create. We are all imperfect and in-process, what we need are strong enough relationships to hold that truth.
